For such a small town, you would never guess what an impressive celebration Tenino WA puts on annually for Oregon Trail Days; 2023 happened to be the town's 150th anniversary. The town has gone through cycles of boom & bust, but it has maintained a small town character and a remarkable collection of historic artifacts and architecture. I had not realized the settlement was an extension of the Oregon Trail.
